GBJ Environmental Systems Limited were formed in 1994 by four partners to work in General Building and Civil Engineering. From small beginnings completing Joinery, Plumbing and General Building Projects, the Company quickly expanded to include installation and repair of Utility Services, Groundworks, Water Leak Detection and Significant Drainage Projects. The Company has specialised in installation of Utilities by using Trenchless Technology Techniques as well as Open Cut Methods. The Management Team which still includes the founder members has ensured continual progress by adopting a hands on involvement in all areas of the business. The Company Administration is carried out at the Warrington Head Office where all staff operate using a fully networked computerised system including Sage Accounts. Occupational Safety, Health and Quality is an integral part of the Management Philosophy. The Audited Quality System (ISO 9001-2000) is fully compatible with the Occupational Health and Safety Policy which is compliant with OHSAS, 18001-1999. Our Business Support Manager has obtained the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and is employed "In House" as the Company Health and Safety Advisor. The Company have a fleet of six-owned vehicles - all purchased from new and utilise hired vehicles as required. All fleet vehicles are fitted with tracker devices which can be monitored 24 hours per day. The experience and qualifications of our operators and management staff qualify us to work in public highways, near railtracks and on water, electricity and gas utilities. GBJ Environmental Systems Limited currently handle many one off low value projects, as well as larger projects, with values from £140,000 pa - £550,000 pa which resulted in a turnover in excess of £1.5 million. |
